Platinum Frenchies have a silvery shine to their coats, giving them an iridescent appearance. This color comes from a blue dilution gene associated with melanism.
The AKC does not accept this color as dogs with the blue dilution gene are prone to Brachycephalic Respiratory Syndrome (BRS), which may cause breathing issues
Lilac Platinum
This color combination is observed when a Frenchie inherits a combination of double copies of blue and cream genes, as well as a dark brown gene.
Platinum Merle
These Bulldogs can be recognized from the light brown patches on their bodies. Some of them have light blue eyes due to the presence of the merle gene.
Cream Platinum
Their coats are light brown or cream, with a dilution in the paw pads, eyes, and nose.
These are among the most expensive Frenchies, starting at $10,000 and reaching up to $30,000.
