Sable coat in a French bulldog has a close similarity with the fawn variety. However, it is a little uncommon than the latter. The fawn coat forms the base, while the tippings of black mainly on the back and giving it a dark appearance.
Sable fawn
The sable-fawn variation is a rare one indeed. The fawn coat has black markings giving the dogs a dark appearance.
Blue sable
The base color, particularly on their lower legs and head, is fawn. However, the black-tipped hair and mask are replaced by the blue one.
Red sable
In this pattern against a fawn coat, the hairs are tipped in red.
Lilac sable
They have a reddish appearance with lilac markings on their nose and mouth.
Though this color variety’s exact cost is not recorded, it is on the higher side because of its rarity.
